  • Your trackers arrive by courier a few days before your trip. You can specify if you wish to have them by a certain date
  • Turn the trackers on, put them in their waterproof cases and Issue them to your participants. Trackers will be numbered from 1 upwards
  • Open the Live View Tracking URL link on your smart phone or laptop and follow the participants. The link will be sent by email to the person making the booking and will include a 6 digit password. The Live View Tracking Map URL and Geo Tracks App work on all types of devices.
  • Once the expedition is complete, return the trackers by using the included, pre paid, shipping label and dropping the trackers off at a UPS drop shop. Please see the 'Shipping' tab for further details

FAQ's

How many trackers should I book?

Should I book 1 tracker per person or 1 per group?

The 'Gold' standard would be to provide a GPS tracker for all the participants.
This does of course increase the price which may put the service out of reach for some users.
Having one tracker per group is certainly better than having no trackers out on the expedition and will greatly improve the safety.
However it must be considered that if an individual is unexpectedly separated from the group and becomes lost the incident could be quickly resolved if they had individual trackers. Equally the group might have to split up due to dealing with an injury or other reason. It's also worth considering if you want the expedition leaders and staff tracked as well. It can certainly expedite any response to an emergency if the whole team is being tracked.

Below are some of the features included in the per hire tracker fee that you might want to make use of. Further detail on how to do this is included in your confirmation of booking email.
